BioNathaniel HIcks-Voll (he/they) is a visual artist, poet, playwright, actor, and arts educator based in the Willow River watershed (Kitchener, Ontario), which is the traditional and ongoing territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral Peoples.
Nathaniel's work has been published in Collage-Lab, Kalopsia Literary Journal, Life Rattle Press, On the Stoop and the Midtown Radio Project. In 2024, Nathaniel presented solo gallery exhibitions at the Kitchener Public Library's Gallery at Central and City of Kitchener's Berlin Tower Artspace Gallery, and their piece, "Sea to Sky," was installed on a billboard-sized display in Downtown Kitchener. In 2025, Nathaniel will have a solo gallery show at The Registry Theatre in Kitchener. Nathaniel is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Sheridan College's Theatre and Drama Studies program, and currently works as a public servant and arts educator. Nathaniel has facilitated arts education programming with the Stratford Festival, Theatre of the Beat, Green Light Arts, the Ontario Public Service and MT Space.
